Short answer: YES, it does!

Have you ever had one of those “awe-moments” when you realize you’re living what you’ve been dreaming of for so long?

Whether that’s buying the newest and trendiest pair of boots, experiencing your dream vacation, receiving an unexpected check, or meeting an amazing partner – I’m sure at least once in your life you thought “OMG, this is exactly what I wanted! Am I dreaming or is it REALLY happening?”

Do you want to know how and why it happened?

Before that moment, you’ve been (unconsciously) manifesting it!

With your thoughts and vibrations, you turned that dream into a reality.

Unconsciously, you attracted that thing into your life!

5 Steps to Finally Manifest Your Dream Life

1. GET CLEAR ON WHAT YOU WANT

Most people go on with their lives constantly complaining, saying that they’re not living the life they want.

They are unaware that there is a much bigger problem behind that: they don’t know what they want!

Sure, everyone desires more money, less stress, more freedom, fewer worries, and more fun. But, does that look the same for everyone?

Let’s take the concept of freedom, for example.

To me, freedom means being able to do what I love whenever I want, so that there’s nothing I have to escape from on weekends. It also means having the flexibility to spend lots of time with the people I love.

What’s your definition of freedom?

What does more money’ look like to you?

This is the first mistake people make: not having a clear definition of what they want!

Another thing that might be preventing you from manifesting your dream life is that you’re not asking for what you truly desire.

Maybe you’re influenced by your close circle of friends.

Perhaps, it’s societal influence.

Or maybe, you think you want what your parents want for you – or what they expect of you.

The problem? It’s not you!

It’s not what you want!

So, if you want to manifest your dream life, you need to first spend some intentional time reflecting on your definition of ‘insert whatever’.

If I might add, you must also be okay with the fact that your definition of ‘insert whatever’ might be different from others (and even from what you thought you’ve ever wanted).

After all, you can manifest into your life only what you truly desire.

So, if you want to manifest your dream life as fast as possible, the first step you need to take is to get clear on what you truly want.

Remember: the more specific you are, the better!

2. MAKE IT CONCRETE

After getting clear on what you want, the next step is to make your desires more concrete.

There are 2 ways in which you can do that:

  • Visualizing them
  • Writing them down

✧ Visualize your dream life

Visualizing your dream life means having a clear picture in your head of what you desire.

No, you don’t want only any random car – you want a white Range Rover, so admit it!

For your dream vacation, you picture your significant other and yourself sipping cocktails by the pool in Bali – not just any pool, a pool in Bali – okay!?

What about your dream job? Yes, of course, it’s living off your passion! But, what is your passion?

The clearer the vision you have about your dream life, the faster you’ll be able to manifest it into your reality!

One technique to easily turn your desires into visuals is by creating what is called a “Vision Board”.

Vision board βžͺ A collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation.

The best tool to create it is Canva, but I like getting inspired on Pinterest.

So, based on my values, goals, and desires, here’s what my current vision board looks like:

Hey! Don’t think that once you’ve created your vision board you’re good to go…

I mean, you need to expose yourself to it as much as possible!

That’s why, once I created my vision board, I saved it as my desktop wallpaper and printed a copy – which is now hanging above my bed.

That allows me to look at it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Also, whenever I open my laptop to work on my blog I get reminded of why I am doing it.

Last tip? If you’re too lazy or, for some reason, can’t create a vision board – don’t panic!

Visualizing your dream life can be as simple as closing your eyes and picturing what your ideal future looks like.

✧ Write about your dream life

Okay, maybe you’re more into words than visuals.

That’s fine!

If that’s the case, one daily habit you should adopt to manifest your dream life is journaling about it.

Put into words whatever goal, dream, or desire you have.

Once again, the more specific the better!

The two moments of the day that are proven to be most effective in this practice are:

  • the morning time, right after waking up
  • the nighttime, before falling asleep

During those times, your brain should be more malleable.

Therefore, it is important to put into it positive thoughts that can help you grow and evolve.

Some ideas for journaling to manifest your dream life are:

  • Keep a gratitude journal
  • Start a manifestation journal
  • Create a goal-setting tracker
  • Start an affirmation journal

Some tips for journaling like a PRO:

  • Always use present tenses
  • Avoid writing in negative tenses
  • Start and finish your practice with gratitude
  • Tune in with your feelings
  • Make sure you’re in a quiet and positive environment where you won’t be interrupted

3. DAILY AFFIRMATIONS

Now it’s time to come up with affirmations to daily manifest what you desire.

Once again, the best two times to repeat your affirmations are:

  • in the morning
  • at night

Although honestly, don’t feel forced to limit yourself to respect only these two times of the day.

Whenever you experience discomfort, feel less tuned in with your dreams, or struggle to find the right motivation…well, those are all good times to repeat your positive affirmations.

The more you repeat your affirmations the better it is!

The goal of positive daily affirmations is to identify and block any negative, self-limiting thinking pattern that has been sabotaging you from creating and living your dream life.

Once you change the way you think of and speak to yourself, you’ll be able to attract and manifest your dream life faster than you thought.

The key steps when writing your affirmations are:

  • Make sure they’re in alignment with your dream life
  • Use present tenses – as if you already are your best self and already have all you desire
  • Write as many details as possible
  • Use positive phrasing – as you want to focus on abundance, not lack
  • Focus first on the areas of your life where you want to see the most improvement
  • Make them accessible – as you’ll want to repeat them multiple times per day

4. BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAM LIFE

You know what?

All the tips I have mentioned above are great, but they might not work for you…

Before you get mad and stop reading, let me first tell you why they could not work:

βžͺ If you don’t believe you can attract and manifest into your life anything you dream of, it won’t work.

It all starts from – and within – you.

You are the one person who can make all this happen – if you only have enough faith in yourself and believe you can change.

Surely, reading this article (and others similar) is a great boost to your motivation.

But, all of these personal development techniques won’t work if you don’t believe they work in the first place.

Your mindset has the potential to set you up for success or failure.

It all depends on what you believe deep down in your heart.

True change can only happen if you first believe you can make it happen.

And I’m here to remind you that: yes, you can – and you will – make it happen!

You have the power to turn your dreams into reality!

Forget about past trials and mistakes.

Every day, you have an opportunity to grow and evolve.

5. CLOSE THE GAP

Okay, okay. It all sounds good and promising.

But how do you go from simply believing in your dream life to making it your reality?

Well, it all starts with one small change.

One change has the power to shift the whole trajectory of your life.

So, before we move forward, you need to take some time to reflect on this important question:

“What is one thing that I can do now, that can bring me closer to living my dream life?”

For example, let’s say that in your dream life you picture yourself waking up at 6 AM every day to do your morning routine in front of the ocean. You feel calm and at peace.

Now, compare this vision to your current life situation.

What is different?

Perhaps, now you wake up at 7 AM and rush out of the house every morning only to make it on time for work. You feel stressed and anxious.

How can you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be?

Sure, maybe you still have to move to the coastal town of your dreams, but that doesn’t prevent you from waking up early wherever you are now.

So, for you, the thing that would get you closer to your dream life would be waking up at 6 AM every day and practicing your morning routine – even in your 12×12 bedroom.

The trick to manifest your dream life fast is to find small ways in which you can feel like you’re living the life of your dreams, starting today.

One small change in your current life situation can help you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

The best thing you can do is start exactly where you are, and with what you have. Trust me: that is enough.
